Hand-crafted Pylon Outdoor Lantern (Vietnam)

This gorgeous oil lamp is crafted of cement and aggregate of marble and granite from the mountains of Western Vietnam. Mixed with natural grassy fibers from the Mekong Delta, this lamp is finished with a clear non-toxic wax finish.

The following fuel sources are approved for use with our oil lamps:

• Non-dyed (clear) kerosene
• Klean-Heatkerosene substitute
• Standard clear lamp oil
• Citronella oil (outdoor use only)

Never use the following in any wick lamp or lantern of any type:

• Gasoline
• Coleman fuel
• White gas
• Paint thinner (aka mineral spirits)
• Wood alcohol
• Naptha
• Turpentine
• Benzene
• Paraffin oil
• Olive oil
• Bio-diesel
• Any other explosive fuel

Story Behind the Art:
The Eco concrete collection is provided by a small group of skilled artisans from rural Southern Vietnam, reviving the Jute industry. Jute is a renewable, fast growing natural fiber, cultivated along the bank of the Mekong River. The artisans are working in close relationship with farmer to produce and craft these simple designs.
